Masters needs a split team as if all the good players are in one and the other is made up of what is left over then at every game a huge loss ie.9. 0 they get pissed and it is awaste of time.
The MASTER is not the world champs it iis about fun as much as good sports manship and skills

I split this off from the Dunedin Ice Hockey Association AGM topic since it seems to be unrelated.

You guys need to toughen up if you are bothered by a 9 – 0 loss. I’d have thought stacking one team was the most sensible option to give the better players a chance to play properly – and to win. Getting stuck with a bunch of beginners may annoy them just as much as losing annoys those on the weaker team.

As the Thunder players get older and older and become masters, they will be used to losing 9-0 and nobody will complain and all will be peaceful again in Dunedinland <img decoding=” title=”Wink” />

SEE the othermasters forum as I listed the topic there.
Master is about new friends fun party all week.
I have been in it since it started 21 years ago.
I played in the first ice hockey team at the Big Chill years ago and Tekapo won over Alexandra, Queenstown Christchurch and Dunedin I think that was in 1989 how many of you remember that game? ha ha
    We got third.
Ok shape up look old play too and most important have fun it is not a serious game but playing in a team that is even in skill is a good start.

Do you know how the strong players in the [b:3bdmph5u]A[/b:3bdmph5u] team feel about it?

I haven’t discussed it with any of them, so don’t know.
