Now the DIHL is over
, I’m trying to figure out if there are any social ‘just turn up’ types of game happening each week. If so, when and how much?I don’t believe so.
There’s space for this to happen on the weekend, but someone would need to take the responsibility for organising it.
The Beasts are usually looking for teams to play. Just form a team and contact Mark Hareb, I’m sure he’ll be happy to play another random team.

Yeah I’m looking more for a social scrimmage type of thing where i can come whenever i have the opportunity (very busy ya see!). Unless someone sets a time and maybe i could then join a team…..
I talked to the lady who always does the scoring (Jacqui?) and she was mentioning something about a saturday or Sunday night game that happens. Any info on that?
No it’s not on at present.
It got cancelled once the DIHL got going, and someone would need to front up and make it happen for it to start again.

Unfortunately I wasn’t told about this so no notice was posted. But presumably it is on again this Saturday.

Yeah the 7.30 session has started back up on a Saturday night, basically anyone can turn up but I’m hoping to have it moved back to Sunday where most of us are more likely to make it.

I believe it is $10 and the game will probably keep going to someone kicks us off the ice. Someone there on the night will collect it. But because this hasn’t been advertised yet, I think it will be a poor turn out this week especially with exams etc on at the mo.
I really should check with Neil make sure he knows and doesn’t lock us out again.
Ryan you should probably advertise this on the homepage.
If you’re restarting it remember that you need a game official. The club decided earlier this year that there should always be a coach or referee at all sessions, to ensure that people have safe gear (they don’t need to necessarily referee any resulting game, but they have the authority to order people off the ice).

Is there any hockey at the moment on say a wed, thur, or fri? I’m going to be in town and was hoping for a skate whether as a goalie or otherwise.

Oh Ryan the social game was stopped just no told you by the looks of things. But it hasn’t been on for about a month. Actually telling you may have been one of the things on my things to do list. My Bad![/color:36h7pi9p]

Things have gotten confusing again! Lets get it straight.At the moment (lets not live in the past) there is a social game every Saturday night at 7:30pm. It cost’s $10, which someone will collect off all the players at some stage at the game. The game will probably go for about an hour, or until someone kicks us off the ice.
Is this about right?
