I took too many pictures this weekend…
It was a great tournament. Lots of good hockey and perfect weather.
The Winter Park Rink is a rink of dreams, most beautiful sheet of ice I have ever seen. I wish we had facilities like this back home.

More Women. I think the women had the most fun this weekend.
Their team was really good and I think it would have been fun to play them but they were in a different division.
The two biggest hits I saw all weekend were by two doofus’s who hit the same woman mid-ice (name?)

Coach Bode and ZanZeeThe maroon team was Aubury. Their jersey’s were almost identical to the Woman’s so they changed to maroon at the last minute. I think it was a strategy to try to get the women to take their tops off.

I didn’t get a chance to talk to him – just before I left I went and asked him – he’d come down for some reason and was playing his first game of ice hockey. I didn’t see him play – wonder if he was any good.
I knew I should have played on a different team from Joe! There’ll be 50 photos of everyone else, and one of me.

I forget his name but I think he’s an ex NZ inline rep. If it’s who I think it is, then he’s from Blenheim originally.

I’ve been looking for more pics of the hockey at Tekapo, Harrison said there was was a link somewhere on this page, but I can’t seem to find it.
I looked on your homepage and saw the Pond Hockey pics, but are there more of the tournament games?
