Because trips like that tend to involve copious amounts of time spent in bars which you aren’t allowed into unfortunately. Being a ‘kid’ sucks, but wait about three years and life will improve enormously! You will be allowed to drink till you puke and smoke till you choke – sounds like fun eh!

    Ryan,

PS: have sent you a rather long PM about fundraising

Just wondering if I’d be able to play in this… I’m going back to Canada for a few months over xmas etc, and will already be in Canada during the trip.  I could fly over to Toronto, play in the games, and join the team on the flights back to NZ because that would be roughly when I’d be heading back here.

Does that sound too complicated or far-fetched, or is it plausible?

Seems like a long-shot to me, just wondering your opinion?

That would be very cool, if… I had that money lying around.

Sounds like a great way to kick off an OE.

Last year there was a 15 year old from aussie that came with us. He came with his dad. If you send an email to Alison Reid she would be able to tell you if something could be sorted out.

Im shifting over to Canada in a couple of weeks, to Toronto, and Im planning on meeting up with every one when they arrive. Last year we had players from Aussie, Scotland, Auckland and Christchurch so I dont see any reason why you couldnt fly in from another area in Canada.

I loved it soo much after going last February that I have decided to shift over there to live  <img decoding=” title=”Grin” />

BC is 19 as well.  All across Canada except Quebec, which is 18.

Er, I thought Alberta was 18 as well. Could be wrong though.

EDIT: yep, and so is Manitoba … http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_drinking_age

Quite suprisingly we didnt get much chance to drink last time because we were all soo tired. We would come home and just collapse in our beds.
Mind you we were staying in a Christian Camp called Teen Ranch, where we werent allowed to drink  :o . Next year they are going to be staying somewhere else though.
