Are Ireland playing the Thunder tonight? Apparently there are emails going around saying that this is happening, but I haven’t heard anything official about it. If it is happening, then at what time?
Amusingly the figure skaters and Irish are our main source of info. on this:

[/quote:34thcec4]It turns out it was just a training game, so they aren’t doing anything dodgy here. The Irish coach was on the ice the entire time and even put the Thunder team down to four players at one point to simulate a powerplay. The score wasn’t actually recorded but us in the stands kept track of the number of goals going in the net.
Yes it was just a practise. There coach was trying to get a few things sorted out for ice blacks game.
Score was 2-2 I believe, a nice hard shot from James V L for the first and Philip managed to dangle his way threw the Irish defence for the 2nd. All in all a pretty slopy all round but a good eye opener for Thunder and Im sure Jans will have some things he wants us to work on next training.
