    Stampede need 2 wins in the last round to host the final.  Can they do it and take a 3rd in a row in the final?  Or will Canterbury host the final and break the 2 year finals curse?

    I’m saying Devils win in QT, because I think devils are the slightly stronger team and because QT is easier for me to drive to than CHCH <img decoding=” title=”Cheesy” />

    i would like to say we are going to have a home final but i dont think is going to happen

    I think the result of the final will come down to a very important part of hockey which is often overlooked….statistics

    The stampede have a very experienced and infinitely wise statistics department, this will give them an advantage big enough, i believe, to take out the 2009 title at either rink.

    If you are going to go down the stats avenue.
    The Red Devils out do the Stampede in Goaltending and scoring……..

    I think you mean the experiance they have.

    though its hard to find a flaw in that logic I say Devils to win. Young, experienced better skills and more depth

    I have no logic I just think the Stampede will win.
    I don’t why, if i was being sensible I would say Red Devils, becuase of stats, because of our experiance against both teams.

    But I just have this feeling the Stampede will win don’t ask me to explain.

    The Red Devils have a tendency to crash and burn at the end of the season, so I voted for the Stampede. Should be pretty close though.

    Devils will win it because it will be at home. Could be up in the air if it was in Queenstown, but I hear Stampede have leaked a few players as they run down to the end of the season so Devils will take at least one game in the final round in Queenstown.

    I think he’s referring to the goalie going home as well as one of the Tekapo d.  Rumour has it anyways.

    Vince if your devils choke again and dont win the final, you owe me Maccas. Actually because I didnt score on you, it will cancel out the big mac combo I currently owe you…
