MemberSo has anyone skated on this patch of ice here in New Zealand?

And yes I’m being intentionally vague and not telling you where it is to see if anyone has actually heard of it before. I was quite surprised to hear about it this evening as I had no idea it even existed.

MemberYep, it’s the snow farm. I was told Hans was working at Cardrona, but I guess not as you can hear him talking in this video:

Memberi think you can but i can imagine they would charge for it. there’s bad ass accommodation up there too, but its expensive. itd be a savage place to host the erewhon cup! you could have 2 or 3 games on at once, just get each club to bring a set of nets et voila! on a une grande patinoir pour jouer le hockey sur glace!

MemberI was thinking that an NZ Pond Hockey championship would be a good thing to run there. I’ve been contemplating running one for years, but there has always been the concern of the ice being too dodgy.
