    What do you think about this so called all-star game?  It appears that imports aren’t allowed to play which doesn’t make it all-star game at all in my opinion.

    Yeah who is in and who is out?

    Some of the names I have heard talked about, certainly seem like strange decisions.

    I think selection criteria needs to be looked at as well.  The idea had great potential but I’m concerned about how its been handled so far.  I’m not even sure who the decision makers were.

    i believe this game is serving as an ice black trial – therefore no imports is appropriate

    It’s actually called Island of Origin – therefore ‘stars’ like you Vince are not required.

    That’s not much of an all-star game then is it? Ann all-star game is supposed to be the best players. Why don’t they do NZ Stars vs. World Stars instead of North vs. South?

    hahahaha, you love it! I’m doing the advertising and it’s being advertised as Island of Origin (as original as it is) as directed by Jeff <img decoding=” title=”Wink” />

    I think it’s great to have a all star New Zealand Line Up game – Even if they did allow imports Vince I don’t think you would have made the cut for the South Island Team this year as both Justin & Stevo finished ahead of you!

    They don’t allow the New Zealand players to play in the State of Origin in Aussie
    so in the New Zealand Skate of Origin it should be the same.

    Sounds like someone in the NZIHL has just mucked up the branding side of things. It can’t be an “All-Star” game if all the stars aren’t allowed to compete.
