    It’s that time of the year folks who is going to win the NZIHL championship. The Southern Stampede and the Botany Swarm? Head to head this season the Swarm are 3-1. But the solitary game the Stampede did win was in Auckland, but the last two meetings were reasonable comfortable margins to the Swarm.

    Will form matter? Will it be decided in regulation? Place your bets

    Zak will be good but Stampede will be better.

    as much as i want the stampede to win, i think the swarm are the best team the nzihl has ever had right now

    they are a more well rounded team then other years however I don’t think they are the best ever.  No disrespect intended to them.

    no way. Devils ’09 was the best nzihl team ever assembled no team(16games) has ever had the top 3 positions in points and i dont think it will ever happen again:

    Heyd, Eaden, Ruddle, Papai, Harrop, Soffer, Kaszala, Nicholls, Speck, Nowland, H. Lewis etc etc

    Swarm win 5-3. Really opened up in the last period. Sounds like it was a pretty good final.

    i tried checking the nzihl site and was surprised that I was disappointed!!!  By not seeing a score posted that is.
