People like Hayden Argyle and Simon Wilson etc
[/quote:2gtzr60b]They are still eligible they just don’t choose to play.

September 3, 2009 at 1:38 am #14122vpatrolMemberI don’t think watching it makes anyone an expert either. Certainly not watching it in NZ with the limited opportunities.
September 3, 2009 at 3:08 am #14123NZblackiceMemberJamrock have you heard anything about the uniforms yet?
September 3, 2009 at 5:15 am #14124thirteenMemberin regards to janos being in an nhl game, so is mike sam and a bunch of other ice blacks sorry vince. i wouldnt be surprised if most of them are actually from queenstown as they consistently produce the best hockey players in the country.
also i would like to have a direct comparison of janos to jordane to see whos a better player. unfortunately janos never played this year so we will never know.
the game should be an all star game, if they want a pure ice black trial then they can run that at a later date.
who chose the team anyhow? are duncan and steve vlok in the team? if not why not?September 3, 2009 at 5:22 am #14125NZblackiceMember"thirteen":3636hya3 wrote:in regards to janos being in an nhl game, so is mike sam and a bunch of other ice blacks sorry vince. i wouldnt be surprised if most of them are actually from queenstown as they consistently produce the best hockey players in the country.

I think it was Jeff who selected it, not too sure though. Makes the most sence if it is an ice black trial.
September 3, 2009 at 5:22 am #14126vpatrolMemberI’m not sure if Jordane was the best player this year even without Janos. He’s up there though.
I don’t think Duncan or Vlok made it. I may be mistaken but Jeff did the selections. Possibly with input from others.
September 3, 2009 at 5:23 am #14127NZblackiceMemberBy that I mean if it is an IB trial it makes the most sence that Jeff selected it.
September 3, 2009 at 5:29 am #14128thirteenMemberwell thats absolute bollocks if they didnt make it! im sure you would agree with me vince?
