Need assistance from anyone who has more knowledge than me on graphic design. I have a logo that needs tidying up and a transparent background added. I am absolutely clueless with corel draw and my old trusty Paint program is slightly archaic. The logo needs to go on a website. It’s probably a 5 minute job but I’m spending hours working through the help page of Draw with no results

if kyle can’t do it i can probably fix it up as well…. though the instructions are slightly confusing ” title=”Tongue” /> to me at least lol

legendary if either can help. To clarify the instructions, I have started a business and like every business need a logo. I dodged on up on paint to give me a rough idea. Trying to clean it up in Corel has been a nightmare. As well, I need the background of the logo to be transparent so I can plunk it into a website without a big black box showing up. I’ve also got a webiste that I have “borrowed” and am modifying for my own usage. I don’t think I am going about the coding the right way. Any assistance on that would be awesome too and would definately result in me oweing beer or other suitable beverages to the white knight coming to the poor goalies rescue!

I’m on the staff of SitePoint.com[/url:j4kgrwj1]. So if you want help with coding, just ask away in the forums there and then PM me (username: ryanhellyer) and I’ll go take a look for you. SitePoint is pretty much the biggest web development forum on the net, so chances are someone will probably beat me to answering your questions anyway.

Either that or just send me a PSD (or whatever image format you like) and I’ll code it for you.

I can do a WordPress theme for you too. I do theming work for other CMS’s, but I’d probably need to be paid for those as WordPress is the only one I know well.

The SitePoint marketplace also has some mega cheap graphic designers if you don’t mind sparing a few hundred dollars. Don’t bother paying for coding services there though as you will likely get shafted if you don’t know much about code (and I’d do it for free anyway).

thanks kyle. I’ll try and see if I can get the image into the webpage. I’m sure I will run into trouble however that is purely a result of my technical ineptitude. I was once an html pioneer. Not I’m a museum piece when it comes to programming.
