For the first time in like nearly 2 months, I got to skate again on ice!!!! and the cost wasn’t all that horrendous either, specially for a friday night. It costed me 9.50 as i took my own skates. What i did notice was that, Auckland paradice offers not only those shitty blue plastic skates, they also offer for an addtional 2.50, the “executive hire skates” and from what I’ve seen that night, it is well worth spending the extra couple of bucks for those people that don’t have there own skates.
Real tempted to suggest that to the rink when I get back to dunners…
Oh and talking about returning to dunners, I’ll be back on the 5th or 6th of January!!! Yaya!!!! Ice hockey here i come!

I’d suggest talking to the club not the rink about that as the club already owns a full set of decent hockey skates which they could use for that purpose.
