    Details?

    Who played goalie for you?

    Neil Dudley played in goal.

Scores (I think) were 3-8 and 2-6 or something along those lines, both to the Queenstown Stars (called Queenstown Y on the schedule).

We had three full lines for the first game, but Mike Mitchell got injured and ended up refereeing the last game. Games were a bit messy on our part, not enough control of the puck and scampering around with our heads down. Their team seemed to have a lot better puck control than us which I was quite surprised at. They didn’t have a lot of speed, but they kept weaving around us a lot more, perhaps something to do with being used to more tight constrains within a smaller rink maybe?

I’m pretty sure you’re right there. The official results should be out within a week or so, so we can confirm then.

Really? I’m 99.99% sure it was 9-3, although I think I was wrong once back in the late 80s.

The stats sheet says 5-6 and 9-3 so I guess chris is right
