[/quote:3pxg9rsp]Any time you want to engage in that sort of analysis, you’re absolutely welcome to. If you feel like taking your current post and making it into a seperate “goalie analysis” / goalie advice thread then I’d be happy to sticky it.
That sort of information is really interesting, and as an experienced international player your perspective would be invaluable.
you serious? Most people think us goalies are weird and we get sent away from team meetings to go and stand in our naughty crease.
Can do a goalie thread but not sure what should go in it.

can do. maybe find some you tube clips of goalies and my “expert” analysis
” title=”Smiley” />. maybe a function for parents too to put video of their kids up and a panel of goalies can comment and suggest stuff. So many coaches only have goalies as a throw in for the drills they run. The position has changed a lot in the last 5 years. Only guys I have seen using the newest developments are Rick and Jens and Jeff last year to a certain extent. He still did a lot of stand-up stuff though.Hear hear. Having a son who’s trying to play goal, getting coaching and having the goalie get more out of practice than a hundred pucks thrown at him is not easy.
Well vince, anything you feel like spending the time and effort to create would be most welcome, and if you do feel like doing something along those lines we’ll make sure it doesn’t slip into the general forum wasteland.
I’ll have a go on my next day off. That way when I get yelled at for doing nothing around the house all day, I can say I was training goalies of the future. Sweet!
