    I would like to propose that a boat race competition be held after nationals and national leauge has finished this season between queenstown and dunedin,

    what are everyones thoughts?

    I thought about this after the erewhon cup after all the boat racing conversations started, it seems a good way to unwind after a hard season in a social atmosphere

    yea handles we call them here. good idea but it would be hard to organise since we are 3 hours drive from the queenstown lads. thats why i thought it would be a good addition to the erewhon cup. each team could enter a boat race team of five, have a round robin then finals or a knock out tournament.

    Round robin boat race with handles. That’s going to get messy fast.

    and then a skills competition directly afterwards.  Foam targets in top corners etc.

    It wouldnt necessarily have to be in Queenstown or Dunedin, we could all rendevezous at a pub halfway somewhere
