May 20, 2008 at 11:06 pm #8566JackMemberlet me be the first one to put our thoughts into words….. DISTURBING!!!!
May 20, 2008 at 11:29 pm #8567KyleMemberFor those who saw the Bulls player injure his ankle in a horrific way early in the DIHL, you might not want to relive it.
For those who didn’t, it looked a little like this:

May 21, 2008 at 12:57 am #8569ActiveMemberOldtimers vs Jets was a good game last night
A tight game right through with lots of scoring chances both ends and goalies who wouldnt let anything through. Anyhows we (old people) prevailed 1 nil and didnt beat up on anyone (not even red helmet man was called to action). I guess it must just be those irksome beasties & stroppy young sharks that need to be taught respect.
A good hard game had by allMay 21, 2008 at 1:43 am #8570KrissiMemberlol Kyle, I thought the same thing when I saw that, remarkable resemblance!
May 21, 2008 at 1:45 am #8571battered_and_bruisedMemberWith all that bitching about the “red helmet guy” it’s no wonder other clubs laugh at our website. Seriously, it’s a game that happened last week. Let it go.
May 21, 2008 at 3:18 am #8572Azzy77ModeratorRyan I would be surprised if other clubs laughed as us because some innocuous banter on the forum about a red helmet guy..
and if they did who cares?????
I mean i don’t care because i don’t play DIHL so I have no idea who red helmet guy is… but I don’t laugh at people for discussing it… its an in joke that people talk about not something that embarrasses the club… you may notice how people drop it into conversation once and a while now… because its an “in joke” just like people drop anchorman or summer heights high quotes into day to day conversation….

for a while there I was really, really worried that other people I dont know of and have never heard of ,were laughing and mocking our website without even knowing who we were and whatsmore were doing it at all times of the day and night and I never even knew it was happening.
Thanks for putting that right AaronMay 21, 2008 at 4:21 am #8574MichaelMemberPeople laugh at our website? Did you do a small survey or something?

What the hell hellyer, why are you laughing? Aren’t you concerned that we’re the laughing stock of the hockey universe because we electronically abuse Red Helmet Man?
I mean, what if Wayne Gretzky saw those comments (I know he often surfs this website)??
Take this a little more seriously would you?
May 22, 2008 at 2:17 am #8577Azzy77ModeratorYeah Hellyer in the last two days I have fielded many emails
“Dear Dunedin Ice Hockey
We were planning on holding the Stanley Cup finals in your rink, but due to my secretary not being able to work due to laughter induced by the so called red helmet man. We will now rescind this offer
Yours
Gary Bettman (NHL commisioner)”“Dear Dunedin Ice Hockey
We here at the IIHF are considering quite seriously I may stress removing your right to operate as an Ice Hockey club. This matter was brought to light after repeated comments about a red helmet man has caused the mainstream media to make Hockey a laughing stock
Yours
IIHF Man (I can’t remember how to spell my own name”“Dear Dunedin Ice Hockey
I would like to meet this red helmet man he sounds like my kinda man
Yours
Don Cherry
P.S. I laugh at your club everynight for discussing him on my favorite website”I have many more and they are all the same Everyone in the world is laughing at us……
