MemberIs there another drop in game tomorrow (Thursday, 18 Feb)?
February 17, 2010 at 3:15 am #14902Active
MemberNo.
I have booked the ice for 6pm sunday 21st for a drop in game now so goalies free everyone else $10 but make sure you turn up on sundayFebruary 17, 2010 at 8:20 pm #14903Kyle
MemberNote that our beginners start on the ice at 7pm from this Sunday onwards, so the session will be time-limited.

MemberWhen I enquired there was no one booked for that night. Can u clarify because if they are playing it would be better if we went after them. Is there a reason why they cant be on at 6pm and we follow them at 7pm ?

MemberThat’s my bad, beginners start next Sunday.
They start at 7 because we sometimes have another session booked in at 6pm.

MemberSomeone has their wires crossed. I just got an email from Sofia saying that the first practice of the season is on at 6pm on Sunday.
February 18, 2010 at 2:51 am #14908imported_Ryan
MemberOh, and to add to that confusion, the email from Sofia didn’t mention anything about beginners. It seems it was some sort of generic practice for everyone from what I could tell.
There’s quite a few confused players now. Some clarification from the powers that be would be nice

February 18, 2010 at 11:41 pm #14910Kyle
MemberGraham has it right. Beginners starts next week, I got confused and told Sophia it was starting this week so she emailed a bunch of people. I’ve emailed her to correct myself, hopefully she got it.
(And beginners is at 7, not 6).

MemberYeah. We’re changing it again. Ice time at 6pm for training, open for beginners and intermediate level players (like end of last year). $10.
Beginners proper starts next Sunday, 7pm. $10/session or $300 for a full year of 35 sessions.

There’s a bunch of extra stuff added to the calendar now too:
http://dunedinicehockey.hellyer.kiwi/ (see top of the right-hand sidebar)In particular, I see the DIHL is scheduled to begin on March 16th

There is something called “Premier Grade Game”. I’m assuming that is the checking grade that has been mentioned recently?
February 19, 2010 at 11:19 am #14914Kyle
MemberYes.
The calendar is updated (for pretty much the whole year).
Some parts of the web site aren’t up to date. The membership booklet which was posted is completely up-to-date and is the bible for the 2010 ice hockey season.
