Just to clarify I don’t think Dunedin officially boycotted the Cup this year.
A lot of players decided they wouldn’t go if it was held in Gore.
So it wasn’t a club issue just a lot of individuals decided not to playIts also fair to say that if the Erewhon was held in Tekapo or Naseby we would have fielded two teams
yep we would most definitely have been attending if it was in naesby or tekapo. would have been a carnage weekend too. next erewhon cup, i challenge queenstown, on behalf of dunedin, to a boat race. that will sort the men out from the boys
oh man, come on azzy, itl be good fun and i know that i can beat the whole queenstown team by myself. put a couple of those uni boys in there, ie darcy. or we could put in tom, see how that works out. actually with his ability to down a frozen coke he should ruin a boat race
