You seriously need to get another life
thanks for your help lol!October 12, 2007 at 9:23 am #7315MichaelMemberLOL has become something along the lines of “I am amused”, its origins on the internet come from “laugh out loud” or “lots of laughs”. LOL can be used effectively if interrupted correctly.
Generally if lol is used at the end of a sentence in lower case it would mean “Im making light of what I just said and don’t want you to take it seriously as it may be mildly funny or sarcastic”
When lol is used in lower case as a reply it generally means “It was humorous but I did’nt split my sides laughing, better try harder next time buddy and can’t be bothered carrying on this conversation”
LOL in uppercase will generally mean the person found something generally funny, followed by more LOL’s means they found it really funny eg. LOLOLOLOL LOLL1@!@!!!# AWDE!!!
When someone finds something VERY funny they might compliment LOL with one of its counterparts like ROFL or LMAO also.
