Hi,
I need a fly. A regular house fly will do, preferably medium/small sized but other sizes considered. Must be alive. Alternatively a large maggot would do. Will pay up to $1. Payment by cash or bank deposit. Car is burnt so can’t do pick ups, but can collect at the ice stadium or around uni.Email: ryanhellyer@hotmail.com (or my Yahoo account)

As my professional Fly catching Cat George is going to demand some high quality food after catching your fly, and thats gonna cost a bit, aye, 10 sounds good to me ” title=”Cheesy” />

October 19, 2006 at 7:32 am #1619imported_RyanMemberI’ll pay $2 for a top quality fly, no more than that though!
And cats usually have a habit of injuring the flies, I require my fly to be in top notch condition![img:9j9550g5]http://www.everythingabout.net/articles/biology/animals/arthropods/insects/flies/blow_fly/blow_fly.jpg[/img:9j9550g5]

October 19, 2006 at 7:38 am #1620imported_RyanMemberOh yeah, I’m needing flies on a bi/tri-weekly basis so if anyone feels like growing a maggot farm there could be a steady profit to be made. I live in an apartment so growing a maggot farm in my living room may peeve off my flatemate a little.

I think Ryan has just tied up the nomination for several end of year awards:
‘Grossest pet’
‘Most lacking in life outside of hockey’
And other things not appropriate for this forum!October 21, 2006 at 3:17 am #1623imported_RyanMemberAudrey is not a gross pet!
She is a very healthy venus fly trap who has just come out of winter hibernation and needs some good nutrients to get her ready for the busy summer fly season!Ryan,

May 28, 2007 at 7:41 am #1624imported_RyanMember[float=right][img:1b58ymwa]http://www.dunedinicehockey.co.nz/ryan/audreyandnick.jpg[/img:1b58ymwa][/float]Now that we’re approaching winter Audrey needs something to keep her sustained over the winter months. If anyone has any flies they’d like to donate then please email me at [email:1b58ymwa]webadmin@dunedinicehockey.co.nz[/email:1b58ymwa]. I’ll pay up to $2 for a nice juicy fly (must be alive) or up to $3 for a suitable maggot.
She was looking very healthy earlier in the year after Jon supplied a few flies, but then I forgot about her when I went to Australia and she dried up like a prune. Luckilly she caught a whole stack of flies a couple of months ago and that helped her get back to health quickly. But the number of flies in our laboratory has diminished along with heat in recent weeks and she really does need some sustance before hibernating for the winter.
Hopefully someone can help ” title=”Smiley” />

Surely the hygiene situation of most his climbing gear would attract many a fly. Could i suggest you get him to just leave his shoes near your plant to act as a fly magnet/ready supply of flys?June 1, 2007 at 3:03 am #1626imported_RyanMemberYeah he’s a stinky bugger. But I’ve put Audrey into hibernation now and she wont be back out till about September 1st so get that maggot farm ready for then as she’ll be nice and hungry ” title=”Tongue” />
