With NZIHL topics proving popular, the summer months are a bit slow in NZ for hockey.  Would you see yourself coming back to the forum to talk about NHL or IIHF teams?

I would for IIHF, about how the IB’s  and maybe mighty Roo’s are going but nothing else.

I mean this is a forum to talk hockey, so if you want to discuss NHL here, be my guest. Its just i think as far as those topics there are forums that have more varied educated opinions on them.

Thanks for that Aaron.  My point being that the worlds lead up to the nzihl season which still leaves a massive void in the topics of discussion available for a good chunk of the year.  Not sure IB’s training will keep the masses coming back for 12 months.

Opinions on other forums are certainly better established but I thought this forum was kiwis talking about hockey.  Is there another forum kiwis go to in order to talk about hockey?  Is it interesting and fun?  Or is it secret and I’m not welcome?  I wouldn’t doubt it.

I think it’d be good if you could encouraged to add a NHL team to your picture and name on the left of posts.

That way we could abuse each other when our team beat their team, if you know what I mean.
