Hi,
The ice rink has offered senior (over 18 I guess) players a deal where if they help provide ‘security’ for the disco session on Friday evenings at the ice rink, they’ll provide us with some free ice time for our practises.
This morning I volunteered to do this when Phil phoned me up. I’m looking for a second person who might be willing to do it tonight.
It’s up to 2 hours, from 7 – 9, though it might be less if it’s a quiet night. It’s nothing too difficult, just being at the door and helping out if drunk people turn up or if anyone has a problem (I understand last week the only problem was that someone was sick and they needed help into a taxi).
The work goes back into providing free ice time for the club and making ice hockey cheaper for all of us.
If anyone can spare up to a couple of hours to help out, please post here or contact me on 021-1130236. Over 18 years of age I believe would be the requirement.
If you’re not available tonight, but might be available on a future Friday night, maybe post here and you’ll be contacted at a future time.

KyleI can’t make it tonight as I’m wheeling and dealing with some mega science nerds. But it would be great if someone could go along and help Kyle as this is a seriously good opportunity to help the club out as it will bring a lot of funding back to the club eventually.
