There are nets, but they’re a pain in the neck to transport unfortunately, plus I think cones, a rubbish bin or anything similar is more appropriate since you presumably won’t have any goalies and a full sized hockey goal is a bit big without them. I have a mini-net kicking around in my room somewhere that can be used, but I only have one of them.
Kavanagh College gets my vote for best place to play. The surface is okay (for crappy asphalt) and there’s plenty of room and a total surrounding of nets.
George St Junior schools is a better location, but the court area there has shrunk quite a bit over the years and you are far more likely to hit a passing car with a puck when playing there and the walls are solid rock.
I’ll definitely turn up if something is organised ” title=”Smiley” />
