NZ knock over Mongolia 10-1. Their last game is against South Africa tomorrow. South Africa lost to Ireland, who NZ has already beaten, so NZ is looking good for finishing top and being promoted back up to division 2.

To jump off the ice for a second, the NZ Inline Hockey team beat Hungary last night 9-8, at the world champs in Germany. That’s an upset, Hungary is ranked 10th, NZ is ranked 15th.

You can follow the team at http://www.inlinehockey-wcs.com/index.php?id=325&L=1. They play Brazil and Australia over the next couple of days, both of whom are ranked above them. The winner of the pool plays a qualification game to move into the top division of 8 teams.

Wicked! good bunch of guys in the team this year. They arent the best team on paper, but its good to hear they have some chemistry! Some of the younger players like James T-B, Lewis Taiapa and Timmy Whipps have some good jump.

Id be keen to know who got NZs goals, where did you get the info Kyle I dont see any of the stats on the international website?

And look, they have Jacques out on the PK.  How would you like to go into the corners against that beast of a man?
