Hello, I recently moved over from Canada to Auckland and yes I left my gear over seas because I didn’t think I would be able to play much over here. Now that I have found a weekend scrummage team to mess around with I am looking to buy some gear. I currently have Skates, Shin guards, gloves and thats it. I was looking at buying new gear but it is extreamly discuraging when you see the price tags the shops slap on the gear over here. So I am looking to buy “hockey pants and a helmet”. If anyone can help me out It would be great or maybe point me in the direction of a second hand hockey store, if one so exists. I am living in Ackland atm and any information would be great. Ps I do know about the sk8te website and like I said price tags on there gear turns me off. I have been able to find bits and peices off the trade me site but alot of there stuff is undersized “JR” or small adult gear. Also is it worth maybe looking at the Australia sites if there is any, any of you may know of. Again thanks a million and looking forward to hearing from you. cheers
