I’ve prepared a Beta mobile version of the website for those of you who want hockey news on the fly. It’s essentially a cut down version of the main site. The latest news is included as are contact details for the DIHL and DIHA, plus the DIHL schedule – well, the remaining two days of it atleast.

If you test it, I’d really appreciate hearing if it worked fine or not. It functions fine on my phone, and in principle should be fine for most mobile devices but I’d still like some feedback if possible.

Also, if there’s anything you think should be included in the mobile version of the site then now is the time to ask. Hopefully the mobile version should be fully up and running by the next DIHL season.

In time hopefully it wont be necessary to add a special mobile site, but at this stage most/all phones struggle to deal with anything beyond very basic websites. You can still browse the main site from your phone/PDA but I doubt you’ll be able to navigate around properly, I certainly can’t from my phone.
