[/quote:34czia7u]Rhys you are the worst goalie I have ever seen. I couldn’t figure out what you were doing. It’s like you were a goalie trapped in a forwards body. You couldn’t even put the right equipment on. You were intent on not playing in your crease. You wanted to stick handle and shoot and what goalie changes on the fly? Honestly, worst goalie ever!!! You were a pretty quick skater for a goalie though, I’ll give you that. Didn’t stop a single puck however.

[/quote:1zb6520c]Peter, if you just want to change your username I can do that for you. That way your old posts will appear under your own username instead of on a separate account.
September 11, 2009 at 1:17 am #14212KyleMemberAnd if you feel like posting results on the fly peter that would be great. They’ve got the U13 game which finished about 9am, but nothing from the U16 game which finished a couple of hours ago.
September 11, 2009 at 1:52 am #14213KyleMemberSouthern U13 lost to Auckland 9-1. 0-0 end of 1st. 2-1 end of 2nd. 7 unanswered goals in the 3rd.
Southern U16 lost 7-1 to Auckland in 2nd game.
Auckland U19 tied with Canterbury 3-3. That must have been a game.
September 11, 2009 at 2:21 am #14214Azzy77ModeratorDid I miss a memo?
Is this pee wees, juniors, and midgets?
Or is this something else?
September 11, 2009 at 2:41 am #14215KyleMemberpeewees = U13
midgets = U16
juniors = U19September 11, 2009 at 2:46 am #14216Azzy77ModeratorYeah I got that.
But why are they no longer referred to by there names, and now by there classifications? is that to avoid confusion with different juniors, midgets, pee wees around the world?September 11, 2009 at 3:17 am #14217KyleMemberThey’re still the official names. I tend to try not to use them, particularly when talking to people who don’t know the system. Parents, new hockey kids etc, U13/U16/U19 is easy to understand.
They don’t relate internationally, and having the ages there makes more sense.
Canterbury rep jackets have years of representation in them, and they use U16 2008, rather than ‘midgets’.
September 11, 2009 at 4:05 am #14218KyleMemberSouthern U16 tied Canterbury U16 4-4.
