MemberWell I put up here how to watch hokcey and doesn’t look like anyone really looked at it. Well here is the kicker, this weekend is the NHL All-Star game and I bet you are all wondering how you can watch it? Well I’m currently watching Versus which the Skills Compatition will be on at about 12:30. So here is the website to watch it. Go to it and click on Watch 3. It’s working beautifully right now. So enjoy.

MemberIt seems I didn’t have a codec pack installed. It’s working fine now.

MemberYeah, if you got a blank screen, go find a bunch of codecs and install them.
It doesn’t give an error message or anything, which isn’t particularly useful, but ‘nothing’ typically means a codec problem.

MemberHere’s another site that you can use to watch it. I’d put these into favorites cause you can see regular season games once the All-Star weekend is over.

MemberWell I don’t know about how many all star games you guys have watched but that was one of the best ones that I have witnessed. End to end action and it was bloody close. 5-1 for the east after the 1st period then 5-3 for the east after the 2nd. Then the west comes back and takes the lead twice before the east ties it then Marc Savard scored the winner with 20 seconds left in the 3rd from a beauty pass from Eric Staal. Stall would then go on to get the MVP and the truck. Personally I thought that Rick Nash, who got the hat trick, should have got the MVP. Oh well. Twas an entertaining game non the less and the commentary by Rick DePietro and Manny Legace was rather amusing.

MemberMaybe Ryan the reason Stall got MVP was because he was from the winning team. If the West won I am sure they would of given it to Nash, Maybe.

MemberMaybe Tom that before this All-Star game that the MVP for the past 3 years has been on the losing team.
2007: Briere (Buffalo), East lost to West 12-9
2004: Sakic (Colorado, West lost to East 6-4
2003: Heatly (Atlanta), East lost to West 6-5 in a Shootout. So Tom, if you are going to come up with facts, I suggest you do some research first before stating things that are just not true. Oh and if you watched the game, you might agree the Nash was more deserving of the MVP then Staal.

MemberMan, Osgood had a shocker of a weekend. He was pretty bad in the young guns game, and then the first period of the big kids game he didn’t get any better. Took a while for the West to figure out playing defense without checking however.
My play of the weekend was the replay they showed of a kid from between periods in an Ottawa Dallas game taking a penalty shot. He got the puck up on his stick, spun around and backhanded it into the net. Was better than anything that the NHL players put on in the skills competition, and the kid was only 9 years old. Betcha there’s some scouts checking him out.

MemberWickerman, that is because in 2007 Brerie had 5 points the next best scorer was Nash from the West he had 4 points obviously they are going to give it to the guy with the most ammont of points.
If two guys have the same amount of points they will tend to give it to the guy of the winning team like in 1997 when Rechi had 3 points they gave him MVP over the likes of Bure as he got 3 points also. -
