I was wondering if anybody knows of any NHL game downloading sites as i am yet to find a site that i can download full length games off.
If anyone can help me out that would be great.September 20, 2007 at 10:45 pm #6982imported_RyanMemberI think the address for the site I’ve used was http://www.cif-forums.com. It seems to be down at the moment though. They’ve been having all sorts of internal squabbles between their site admin and the whole site dissapeared for a few months a while back, hopefully that hasn’t happened again! It’s not a download site though, but has a whole heap of links to downloads and torrent files.
The sticking point though, is that you need a login to use it and only some users have the ability to invite new users. Tom Wilson was using my login a while back, so you could ask him if he has any invites to give out yet.
Ryan,
September 20, 2007 at 11:23 pm #6983KyleMemberI got an email a few days ago with a new address for that site. It is very good, I should try and figure out how to earn invites so we can spread that around a bit.
It’s at home, I’ll try and post it here over the weekend.
September 21, 2007 at 12:44 am #6984TomMemberTry this site http://www.nhltorrents.co.uk/torrents.php but it is real hard to get games in the off season because of not as many people are seeding it or something.
September 21, 2007 at 12:53 am #6985ChrisMemberI would try searching google using the “intitle:”index.of” (mpg|avi|iso|wmv|zip|rar) nhl -html -htm -jsp -php -asp -pdf -mp3 -wma” search string.
Note that if you’re going to replace “nhl” with more that one word, you should seperate those words with periods rather than spaces, e.g. “sidney.crosby” rather than “sidney crosby”
September 21, 2007 at 1:02 am #6986TomMemberum dont understand can u give an example of wat u would exactaly type in?

[/quote:3shgxvz3]I don’t know if that will work Chris. As far as I know, all these things are torrents, no one puts the actual full files up on a site.
September 21, 2007 at 2:07 am #6988ChrisMemberYou’d be surprised. In the US it’s very common for students to use open file storage systems on their college networks as external hard drives. The search string looks for precisely that: directories without accompanying index pages.
Believe me, you can find some very interesting stuff with that search string, and ou get much, MUCH better download speeds than with torrents.
Also, you don’t have to worry about port forwarding if you download from servers ” title=”Smiley” />

Thats why the invented UPnP my friend.
September 21, 2007 at 3:57 am #6990ChrisMemberI’ve never found a single application that’s successfully managed to configure my D-Link router via UPnP, lol
September 21, 2007 at 4:42 am #6991MichaelMemberutorret and azureus work fine with mine.
September 21, 2007 at 5:08 am #6992imported_RyanMemberI don’t get it either Chris. Could you give an example of exactly what we need to type in to get NHL videos.

[/quote:24xv0urh]Its handy wee trick, got many movies and songs via this method, don’t tell the fuzz though, Americans do seem to like to store their stuff in weird places, and its is uber-fast
September 21, 2007 at 12:10 pm #6994KyleMemberThe new address of the cif-forums is:
September 21, 2007 at 9:52 pm #6995KyleMemberCIF doesn’t seem to need someone to refer you any more, registration appears to be free and open to everyone.
If it does ask for a username as a referrer, people can try my one if they want, which is ‘jits’.
