[/quote:312a5851]I think its actually quite good. At first I kind of cringed at the thoughts of bagpipes but it grows on you. It’s got some energy to it. The original it is not but I think its a good alternative. Distinct!
Yes well I think that is what will happen with the new theme…personally I voted for the kid. Thought it was a bit better song.
Did they play the new song when your Canucks got smashed by Stefan’s Capitals?

[/quote:1enou1d9]No it was a Pay-Per View game so thank god I did not watch it. Red Wings tonight though and they will have the “Hockey Theme” on TSN…doesn’t really feel right on TSN I must say. The graphics for the new HNIC Theme are pretty sweet and that makes it sound a bit better.
Just a note. I download all Anaheim Ducks games (though, given how they’re going so far this season, I am starting to wonder why), and all NHL on the fly shows.
The NHL on the Fly is pretty good, gives you highlights of all games, and discussion between three expert types.
If anyone wants any of them, let me know and bring a large memory stick or dvd or external drive.

Where is ‘here’ !? Do you mean you’re watching the games live on tv? in NZ!? How!?
Also, go ‘nucks! Got my Burrows jersey hangin up in my room down here. Hahah, Luongo has three shutouts now this season! Good times and a promising season for them this year. Let’s hope they don’t choke at the end of the season again…
