Video editing in Windows is a nightmare! I generally just use Windows Movie maker as although it is complete junk it seems to work and is relatively bug free.

If you own a Mac, I suggest upgrading to Quicktime Pro which is totally awesome. You can do pretty much anything you want in Quicktime Pro quickly and easily, far better than any software available for Windows machines. Unfortunately I don’t own a Mac <img decoding=” title=”Sad” />

    Hey, awesome video Tom!

I’m not sure who you are. If you pass on your last name and what team/s you play for I’ll post your video on the home page with a comment about who you are – if you want me to that is.

I don’t have any invites unfortunately. But I’ve PM’d you my own login username and password to use instead.

That’s a sweet video Ryan’s put up on the front page Tom.

They should show something like that on a projector before the players head out for the cadbury cup this year, or when the ice blacks play the moose. I wonder what the effect would be like if you could project down onto the ice from above.

If you projected it from the grandstand, the people in that grandstand wouldn’t see any distortion.

Yeah. It’d be an interesting experiment anyway. Probably wouldn’t work very well from the stands on the side of the rink as they start at ground level and therefore wouldn’t have a great angle on a picture flat on the ice.

I was meaning project it from the grandstand at the side anyway, as most of the spectators are usually there.

Google had a good set of game broadcasts, and they’re still up (see Jason’s post earlier for a link), but they seemed to have stopped pre-Xmas.

Aaron recommended sopcast to me. I haven’t been able to try it yet, but it’s p2p broadcasting. Which is at http://www.sopcast.com/player/.

I presume there’s another place where you can link up to games being played, maybe if Aaron reads this he can post that site.

What you wanna do is download sopcast player from the website.
It is just a client (i don’t know computer speak so don’t hurt me) that allows you access to the p2p network you can just log on as anonymous.

Pretty much if I am bored I just log on and see if there are any nhl channels open, if there are I click on them and roberts your fathers brother.

If you want to be more precise you can go to http://www.myp2p.eu
and check out the schedule to seee what nhl games are on which p2p network,
There are like 10 different networks, but for nhl sopcast is the best.

The major downfall of this program is that since the games are LIVE, thats right LIVE, you sort of have to be able to watch between 10 in the morning to 6 at night. is the major viewing slots.
I find the brodcasts run most smoothly on sundays. But enjoy!

Clearly I need a job where watching hockey all day is allowed. Like SK8 or something.
