Is anyone bold enough to put their pick their finalists for the NZIHL?
There is about 6 weeks until the start of the 2011 NZIHL season.

April 4, 2011 at 10:31 am #16558Azzy77ModeratorThanks for the Faith Ryan…
There are a lot of exciting things going on at Thunder at the moment, I think we will perform quite well this season.
Although without seeing the other teams, I feel its a bit early to make prediction
April 4, 2011 at 12:11 pm #16559KyleMemberFor Thunder catching sight of the imports is going to be pretty key. They’re going to need to be good quality like last year’s for Thunder to be in the mix.
I’m thinking Red Devils will be back with a good chance, Swarm likely finalists. Admirals to slip down. Keen to see how Stevo Reid does coaching Stampede, he’s racked up four straight gold medals at nationals with U16s and U19s and hoping they have a good season.
So umm… Swarm and Thunder is my out on a limb pick.
April 4, 2011 at 10:52 pm #16560thirteenMemberThunder vs Stampede. Im Blake Sinclair and I believe
April 5, 2011 at 2:00 am #16561ChrisMember…and continuing your one-man war against the apostrophe, I see.
April 5, 2011 at 2:33 am #16562thirteenMemberI can use the Enlish language in any way i see fit. Shakespare, who many regard to be the greatest litterary genius in the history of the english language got away with making up words to fit his purpose. thats what kids do. Therefore i should be able to skip the odd apostrophe if i want
April 5, 2011 at 6:21 am #16563vpatrolMembershakespeare knew the rules prior to breaking them.
April 5, 2011 at 7:21 am #16564thirteenMemberI know the rules too, im not ignorant, merely lazy. On a side note, there is apparently a wealth of evidence pointing to the fact that shakespare had a ghost writer or just straight up stole someone elses work
April 5, 2011 at 7:58 am #16565vpatrolMemberand yet this evidence is only coming to light now? Must clearly be credible.
I thought Sheepo was playing this year. Guess he switched gears to coaching. Last year was pretty close so I’m guessing this year will be similar. Imports play an important role as seen in last years finalists so I’ll reserve judgement until I see them all. Tough to tell who will be in the finals with the Devils ” title=”Wink” />

It was a bit of a toss up between Stampede and Thunder. Stampede have such a strong history that I can’t imagine them not jumping back after a weak year though and I haven’t heard any news from the Thunder camp that made me think they would improve enough to leap frog the Red Devils.
"Kyle":j09sdfs9 wrote:So umm… Swarm and Thunder is my out on a limb pick.[/quote:j09sdfs9]Pretty ballsy considering that last season they came in last and second last places.
Thunder are and up and coming team though, and the Stampede were the top dogs until not long ago, so perhaps it’s doable.
April 5, 2011 at 7:39 pm #16567KyleMemberswarm are defending champions Ryan.
April 6, 2011 at 4:34 am #16568imported_RyanMemberOh, lol. I thought you wrote “Stampede”.
