    The games this week are spread throughtout the week.

    The Admirals have found the fight in them, but have healed from the stinging that they got from the Swarm last week?

    The Devils have had a week off and come up against the Stampede at Christchurch, will the Stampede come off the ropes?

    How many players from Stampede and Admirals are in or out? Due to injury or suspension due to all the squirmishs near the end of the 2nd game??

    Or was it decided no further action was required??

    All of them will play except for the injured ones.

    I would imagine that to be suspended there have to be Match Penalties, cos the 5+GM don’t carry auto suspensions. There are no Match Penalties listed on any score sheet.

    Cheers Plod…I knew I could count on you to fill us in on the details…
    The game reports just mention there were fights, not the action associated with them…..

    Seeing as us regular people don’t get scoresheets, we need some one to tell us…

    Some penalty stats for the first round of games. Good to see the Thunder would get the ‘Fair Play’ Trophy if it was awarded now!!!

    All bar one of the 5+GMs are for roughing. A dramatic increase in this has occurred this year.

    Am sure some believe that they have been on the wrong end of the penalty count but generally, the home team is penalised more.

    3-3 between admirals and Swarm after 2nd….apparently Challis has been ejected for spitting. He seems to like doing that, he spat at me in our second game in Auckland….must get too hot hiding behind that cage

    Final 5-3.  a very scrappy dirty game… but

    P1 – Fast frenetic excellent hockey admirals were firing
    P2 – dirty, blood on the ice
    P3 – Game broke down
