MemberBig games this weekend as the round robin has three rounds to go. Canterbury on the bye, Admirals want to beat Stampede to keep in the race, Thunder need to knock over Swarm at home to have a hope.

MemberAdmirals to be big against Stampede and knock them out (I’m confident this will be wrong, but I like being out on a limb), Thunder/Swarm to split.

Memberi think the stampedes big guns will sink all the admirals battle cruisers/gun ships to win both
and the swarm will take the sting out of the thunder strike and win boths
who can make a lamer prediction with team names i challenge youJuly 27, 2010 at 11:58 am #16076vpatrol
MemberThe Admirals will ship the slaughtered remains of the Stampede via sea freight to Queenstown in order to marinate for another off season in the calm waters of Lake Wakatipu.
Meanwhile, the Swarm will send thunderous attacks down on Dunedin only to see them regroup and play some sweet as honey hockey and weather the stwarm.

MemberThose aren’t actually my predictions but they provided the best opportunity for lameness

MemberWith only 3 weekends left and with a touch of intervention the Thunder can still finish top of the NZIHL. All the more reason not to miss the epic battles about to unleash at the Dunedin Ice Stadium. Ooo! AHH! Thunder

MemberThat’s a mighty fine dream there. People these days need dreams!

Membershouldnt you be supporting the thunder vpatrol since you used o play for them?
July 28, 2010 at 8:11 am #16082vpatrol
Memberthose weren’t my actual predictions. However who I support and who I think will win are two very different things. I actually want every team to play good hockey. The better all the teams are, the higher the IB’s will climb and hopefully NZ will get more rinks and more players etc etc

MemberHave you considered entering into politics Vince? You have an outstanding ability to not answer questions

Memberpolitics is the eventual goal.
” title=”Wink” />Not being on a team, I have the luxury of just wanting to watch good hockey regardless of who wins. Just like I’m unlikely to see the Oilers on ESPN playing in the finals so I’m quite happy to just watch any hockey as long as its good.
