Memberlast goal scored was empty net. It was odd. I think Rick was not pleased with his team and pulled himself. He wasn’t replaced.

[/quote:2de31dux]You mean he wasn’t replaced by a skater or goalie?

MemberA skater replaced him. But even if it was strategic (which it wasn’t) pulling a goalie when down 15 to 1 and having a face off at center ice is unconventional at the best of times. Rick was having a moment but I can’t really blame him. Aaron got ready quickly but didn’t go on. There was less than 30 seconds left at that point. Didn’t really alter anything but it was odd nonetheless

MemberStefan got the lone goal for them. I didn’t really see the run up to it but I saw the puck sneak low and inside of the post. I don’t think Justin was happy with it. Thought the game was going to get out of hand when Justin got punched in the head (fight ensues), and then another guy snows him shortly after. Fortunate the refs gained some control after that since guys were going to start protecting themselves and not rely on calls being made. It was really sloppy early on but atleast the score wasn’t get run up at the beginning. The 3rd period was a bit rough. 10 goals in that frame.

MemberAnyone else like to see Dunedin pull out the old green sweaters? Fans are struggling to see names and numbers.

MemberI havent managed to see thunder play however 16 -1 is shocking do they have poor defence or do they need someone else in goal, cos i see the thunder goalie has been selected for the ice blacks surely it must be their defence at fault here?
