Wakatipu three-peat by winning the South Island Secondary Schools competition this year. This year’s final was a repeat of last year, Wakatipu beat Christchurch boys 5-3 in a great game with good pace. Christchurch kept their best five kids on the ice for almost the entire game, I think some of them didn’t come off at all, but they were still skating hard at the final whistle and pushed Wakatipu hard.

Dunstan beat Shirley Boys/Hagley combined for 3rd, Kings beat St Andrews College to win the bottom half of the tournament.
