October 22, 2009 at 9:08 am #14615thirteenMemberWhere did the discussion on fighting disappear to? this is a breach of our human rights! its a breach of our freedom of speech!
October 22, 2009 at 9:09 am #14616imported_RyanMemberThat’s odd. Sorry, I must have accidentally removed it. It will be back in a few minutes.
October 22, 2009 at 9:12 am #14617imported_RyanMemberLol, woops! I had to move a bunch of offensive crap that got posted and while doing that I saw Regan’s post and assumed it was a separate topic and so moved the whole thing since his post didn’t make any sense in context without the posts above it, but of course it did make sense since …. meh, can’t be bothered explaining. You get this gist ” title=”Tongue” />
October 22, 2009 at 9:18 am #14618imported_RyanMemberAhh, relaxing time ” title=”Smiley” /> The little kiddies must have been sent to bed by their mummy and daddies so can’t sit on the computer being a PITA anymore ” title=”Cheesy” />
Thank you to all of you who don’t post mind numblingly pointless stuff here and actually contribute something to the conversation.
October 22, 2009 at 8:36 pm #14619thirteenMemberlets just go kick his ass for talkin smack! but kyle, you cant really be serious about getting rid of that sort of fight (i refer to the video). and i realise you’re not actively seeking to rid the game of it but i doubt it would be a good idea.
i scarcely watch rugby anymore because its just not as brutal as it used to be, i much prefer league these days. not to say that i think league’s a better game because i dont, i just find it more exciting. if they brought back rucking it would make the game far more interesting to watch. the only problem is, is that the people who enjoy the feminising of brutal male sport, are the one in charge, and they impose their ideals on a community unwanting of them. the rules in sports are very seldom democratically decided, with respect to all stake holders in the sport. the reason this trend kyle speaks of may happen is not because the players want it to happen, it will be because it is forced unwillingly upon them by people who really have no idea of what the sport actually wants, and force it with ridiculous penalties like the 4 match suspension for fighting in the nzihl. i think it is a trversty and almost a breach of our human rights, what happened to the democracy we live in? it has all the bearings of Section 59, f*&k you Sue Bradford, you and people like you are ruining new zealand and ruining contact sports!October 22, 2009 at 10:29 pm #14620ActiveMemberobviously Global warming and pollution of our waterways got nothing on the feminising of our beautifull game. Sue’s got a lot to answer for.

[/quote:drr179x0]I don’t believe this is the case, but if it is, the answer surely is for the players to get more involved in making these decisions.

October 22, 2009 at 10:49 pm #14623TomMemberI agree Blake im sure that every one that actualy plays the sport understand the importances of fighting.
October 22, 2009 at 11:06 pm #14624Azzy77ModeratorNo Ben Jarvie. I am not gay. Nor do I own a “fucking gay” the fact you left out an apostrophe makes it hard to decipher if you are misusing your or you’re.
October 22, 2009 at 11:08 pm #14625thirteenMemberso, since its not hard to find out who you are, its probably not a good idea to rag on people with out being linguistically cunning. its just not that funny and we take exception to that sort of carry on, plus why dont you fight me?
October 22, 2009 at 11:12 pm #14626Azzy77ModeratorJarvie we all know its you…..
