Why is it a even game series???
Shouldn?t a series between two teams be contested over an odd amount of games to guarantee a winner….
Because 5 games takes it pretty close to Xmas and I presume she thought people would struggle to play then. She did have a way of deciding the winner, but I can’t recall what she said now.
Hey I’m not back in the country till the night of the 2nd game, whats the chance of turning up to play in the last two game? If I’m allowed to play that is.
Pretty slim. They’re only taking 20 skaters she’ll probably fill those slots on the first night, if she doesn’t it’ll just be a one-off game, not a series.
And it’s a prem contact game, so you might get turned away anyway.
I think Jack, along with me, you, and a bunch of other people, isn’t on the list of eligible players.
Oh, and he’s a wuss, but nothing wrong with that.
Shrug, I was approached by Stefan before I left for my holiday asking whether I’d be interested in playing in the equivelent of the stanley keg. I didn’t realise Bode was the one organising it.

players, National rep players or equivalent… I’m fairly sure I’m better then the midgets rofl, and judging by our performances at the end of the southern league, I wouldn’t exactly put us in the “not that good” catagory….. but oh well, plent of other hockey later

Word on the street is that the famous and historical Stanley Keg has arrived at the Dunedin Ice Stadium for the opening round of the 2008 Stanley Keg Playoffs.
An anonymous source stated they had seen the cup being “escorted by 2 white-gloved men” earlier today. Press and loyal Dunedin hockey fans have been waiting for an official statement from Stanley Keg officials whether or not She will make an appearance at Game 1 of the 4-game series.
Local Rink Manager, Zamboni operator, and Trainee skate sharpener Neil Gamble refused to comment as to whether the cup would show its silver face at the opening tonight.
There has been talk of Anti-Keg protests organised by 2007 Keg winner [b:1iljub4i][u:1iljub4i]Ryan Wick[/u:1iljub4i][/b:1iljub4i], as he is reported to [u:1iljub4i][b:1iljub4i]want the cup all to himself[/b:1iljub4i][/u:1iljub4i]. He has not been sighted in the Dunedin area recently which has allowed the series to go ahead. However, Officials have been on high alert today with rumours Mr Wick planned to Bomb the Dunedin Stadium in an Army fighter Jet given to him on loan from the Canadian Government, who voiced their disgust that the Dunedin-crafted replica of their beloved Stanley Cup was being made from a beer Keg. Furthermore, the Keg was not originally filled with Molson Canadian, which angered passionate and often overly-patriotic Canadian hockey fans, such as Mr Wick.
Tickets for tonights game are strictly a first-in-first-serve, ‘dont-tell-anyone-you-payed-me-for-this-ticket’ system. Door sales payable on entry to apprentice scam-artist Stefan King. Tickets $87.50 ONO (far cheaper than the official Canadian version of the cup), cash only, as Mr King would rather not have any record of a transaction taking place.

Oh man that was a good laugh. I will not confirm nor deny that these rumors are true. Only state that what Mr. King is reporting could in fact be true…or maybe he has been hitting the local dance club scene a bit too hard…In any fact, I will get back to watching my Canucks games, and really any other hockey game in High Def!!!! Yeah it’s that much better in HD!!!!
Oh and I heard the first game was an 11-6 win for the team with Liv in net. What are the teams by the way? They posted on here somewhere? I’m too lazy to go all the way through and look.

For some reason he was traded from the winning side halfway through but only let in one goal against his former team. That’ll learn em!
Hey I wont be able to play the next 2 games in the Stanley Keg series coz of work (yes gutted as
--> !!!!). Iv paid for all 4 games though, so if someone wants to take my spot ask Bode if you can take my place and have 2 free games. You must check with Bode first though, as she wants the teams to be even, so probably if youv played Premier grade or that kind of level you might be able to play…Peace.
