Despite that canterbury is technically the enemy and their goalie Vince once touched me in a way that made me feel uncomfortable, I actually quite like the Devils, and I’m glad they’re getting the wins they deserve.

swarm outshot us 24 to 5 in the third period. We spent much of the 3rd in the box. They had just under 6 mins of 5 on 3. Lost count of the 5 on 4. Fun period as far as action. We got to work on the pk! Would rather have not played short handed though.
Who was in goal for that pile of fun? Pretty good effort to stop 24 shots, that many of them short handed.

That basically confirms that it’ll be a Red Devils – Stampede final doesn’t it. Swarm are 10 points behind and they’ve only got 4 games (8 points potentially).
Admirals are on 7 points with 6 games to go, so could technically make it, if they win all their remaining games and Canterbury get no more points.
So the final rounds will resolve the question of where the final will be held – Queenstown or Christchurch.
