The League rules have not been well written and the spirit of it would indicate that players who incur 5 plus GM in last 10 should sit the following game as an instant suspension but was worded incorrectly, therefore no suspension. I would expext that this will be sorted for next year.
Who were they really hurting expect one players pride!! Lineys did a good job not to allow other players to join in.

Eaden always seems to be grinning. Cant see him getting to worked up. I like the rule which states the second player in to a fight gets kicked out of the game. That way when two people get into a fight everyone stands off knowing if they join in thats the end of the game for them. Then 2 people can punch each others chest protectors and helmets till their hearts desire. I dont think even OSH could come up with a safer way to have a fight
I find myself having to explain why third man in is so serious quite often. People often view it as “was just trying to help his friend”, whereas I view it as “action most likely to incite an all in brawl”.
Surely if they got a game misconduct in the last 10 minutes they should sit next game by IIHF rules, regardless of crappy league rules.
I think it’s a NZIHF rule, not IIHF.
The IIHF rulebook says (the old one):

Proper Authorities.[/quote:363conrp]Since they got a game misconduct penalty, all the officials do is send the game sheet and any report to the authorities, it’s up to them what they do with it.
haha na eaden wouldn’t get in a fight, he’d start crying! But man does he get worked up, hes an angry little man if things don’t go his way! probably the best part about playing chch is getting eaden worked up!
its a shame that anyone gets kicked out, easy when you say krappy league, its nt to bad really better than iraqs league
