TV1’s breakfast had a pretty stupid report about Tekapo and the Erewhon Cup on this morning. It wasn’t so much about ice hockey, or the cup, as people being silly buggers.

If you mouseover the video it comes up with controls, including the number 1 – 6, which are the chapters. Click on 3, which should cut to the middle of the programme. After it plays an advert it’s first up in that chapter.4th times a charm. chp 3 got me different clips until now. Silly but it was obvious they were silly. Any exposure is good exposure I guess.

They needed a lesson in both honour and how to bludgeon Tamati Coffey?.That would have been true entertainment and advertising for Ice Hockey.
Not only Tamati?s bleeding face for the few more clips during the ?Breakfast Program? but Paul Henry would keep mentioning his injuries (physical and emotional) for weeks. As Paul is known for his positive, nurturing, political correct and all around emotionally sensitive comments would advertise hockey every time Tamiti pops on screen.
Why couldn?t that be Paul Henry out there on the ice? Hey any hockey player with self respect would have shown NZ just how to kick down a true self-righteous fascist.
