The Stampede also belong to SIHL but apart from the Sopers I’ve never seen anyone outside the Queenstown Club offer to help organise the games or even at the games! Even before the Thunder it was all run inside the club and when the Stampede had home games in Dunedin the DIHA organised and paid for them as far as I know.
There you go. Thunder are separated from the DIHA. Thought there was something different about you guys.

well theres the families of the alexandra and gore players there, but yea, queenstown seems to have taken control of the stampede, which is fine since thats where most of the players come from, and they have a system that works to the benefit of the team.
its pretty much the same set up we have down here, it works so that s good
