Admirals were 2-1 in the 1st i think. Then with 5mins left in 2nd when thunder were up 3 2 one of the auckland guys got put down HARD into the boards tailbone first and they called the ambulence and we had to wait 20 minutes for the restart. 1 minor each way by then i think. Thunder were playing good. Got to 4 2 at the end of the 2nd i think. In the 3rd one of those nasty admirls boys got a match. THUNDER KICKED ASSSSS!!!!!!! 7 4 end of 3rd. GO THUNDDDEERRRRR!!!!!!
Anywhos. What was with that admirals supporter with the old school naval hat!!! lol. And how come I come back and we have a new forum? Will I get in trouble on this one lol? What happened to the old one?
Awesome job tonight Thunder you played your game dumped in over the red line and chased the puck hard. Solid power play through the game too. To bad about the admiral player. Can’t wait to watch the game tomorrow.

[/quote:6o90eqzl]Apparently he’s ok. I talked to some of the admirals boys at the rink today, and they said that he’d had a back/neck injury earlier on and the doctors had told him that if he injured his back again anytime soon they were to take it very seriously.
He’s in a lot of pain, but is up and walking, so permanent damage is unlikely. Pretty fortunate.
P.S. What was with that guy hassling the ref? Was a missed call worth a match penalty?

I was SOOOO about to walk on the game when it was 6 2 to admirals !!! But THUNDERRRR sucked it up and kicked ASSSS like last night agaain. But there f&*% up (i didn’t swear!!!) at the start was to much. Admirals 6 5. A bunch of us are goin drinking at cook to celebrate yesterdays win again. Join us.
