i think those would be awesome ideas apart from they’re not practicle at all and i dont even want to imagine the health and safety risks involved in these activities, good thoughts tho buddy, what could you do for the red devils?
July 28, 2009 at 10:04 pm #13274ThundersbiggestfanMembermale strippers
July 29, 2009 at 12:46 am #13275Rhys MMemberfor some reason im not sure that would appeal to the whole crowd
July 29, 2009 at 3:18 am #13276Azzy77ModeratorThe Lighting and Sound shows for thunder were done last year. Mostly by Rhys, but to be fair it was driven quite a lot by Ryan Wick (Resdient in Canada now) and Aaron Bryant (playing/sitting on the bench for thunder). Those two did quite a lot of the boring work i.e. playing songs during game, and announcing goals etc…..
No one has come forward to man the music desk this year. Most people thought those shows just happened last year. A lot of hard work was put into them. If someone wants to step forward and take the reins please let us know.
Maybe Jofaplaya or Thundersbiggestfan? You two seem like dedicated fans perhaps you could volunteer to run the music, you would get free entry to watch your favorite team perform.
I don’t think the coach tried to vandalise the rink it looked more like he hit the wall out of frustration, which is not entirely appropriate. But it he definitely not try and maliciously vandalise the rink.
July 29, 2009 at 3:20 am #13277vpatrolMemberPeople should forget about the coach and find the people that vandalized the new Thunder jerseys.

[/quote:13e3ypqt]He actually intentionally grabbed the wire netting over the windows on the back wall of the rink and tugged hard enough to rip part of it off the wall. I saw it happen from about 10 metres away. And yes, I saw the sock on your head, very snazzy!
I wouldn’t go as far to say he was vadalising the rink, but he did do some damage that had to be repaired, and lets face it, we’d all be pretty damn frustrated if we were put in that same position."vpatrol":13e3ypqt wrote:People should forget about the coach and find the people that vandalized the new Thunder jerseys.
[/quote:13e3ypqt]BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, That’s the funniest thing you’ve ever said!
July 29, 2009 at 4:31 am #13279Jofa playaMemberyea whats up with the white writing in the back ground of them you can’t see what it says and it just looks weird. Where in my post did I say the coach maliciously vandilised the rink, and I cant recall saying thunder was my favorite team I just support them, no offence I prefer stampede because they actually are at a competitive level and are good to watch I just spend alot of time in the dunedin area and like coming to there games. Im just hoping the thunder can step it up next year they’ve got the facilities they just need the team and the coaching.

Jofaplaya you seem to spend a lot of time talking about being a fan of the Thunder so I just assumed they were your favourite team. You don’t seem to spend a lot of time talking about Stampede hence my confusion.
July 29, 2009 at 4:40 am #13281Jofa playaMemberWheres the “maliciously” in that, you just tried to make what I said sound worse
July 29, 2009 at 4:44 am #13282Azzy77Moderatormalicious – deliberately harmful
I admit i may have taking liberties with your post, but I assumed when you said the coach vandalized the rink you thought he did it on purpose, whereas I was merely pointing out he was venting his frustration in a inappropriate way.
I apologize if I misread your post
July 29, 2009 at 4:47 am #13283Jofa playaMemberHonestly mate dont have to get all apologetic about it i dont mind, i just thought you were trying to make stuff up
July 29, 2009 at 5:49 am #13284NZblackiceMemberStampede will win by at least 5.
Nick Gloag with the hat trick in his debut. Educated prediction.
July 29, 2009 at 6:01 am #13285barackobama07MemberOur dunedin rink can seat so many, but we never seem to pull the big crowds…
Perhaps if we didnt have the star wars kids playing with fire for half time entertainment and instead had kieth’s protege rhys mcalevey performing his anticipated ‘jump through a burning hoop’ stunt, wearing his pink lyrcra jumpsuit we’ve heard so much about!
If that doesnt inspire tom wilson to do something when hes on the ice i dont know what will!
July 29, 2009 at 6:02 am #13286Jofa playaMemberha that nick gloag guy is the man, he better keep his head up with such players as tom wilson playing against him
July 29, 2009 at 6:03 am #13287Jofa playaMemberthose fire dancers areoff the chain they get heaps of fans
