I think that is probably pretty solid assessment of the event. (Way to give Devils scouting report Kyle!)
Thunder was using this as pre-season hence the use of every player and goalie on the Roster. Stampede were mainly sticking with two lines, but to be fair to them they were down a few players through sickness, injury and work.
They also lost their Swedish Import in the first shift of the game,
But other than that, what Kyle said.
i think there was a clear stand out in the thunder and it was paris the only one really putting any attacking pressure and i belive the satmpede only had to lines there hence only two playing
The stampede attack was good, but not great, they ran one move which beat the thunder a fair few times, that is pass up the middle to a high guy crossing, when on the break out. They had the safer hands on the passes but lacked a lot of creativity on the offense. Also the thunder had the speed advantage over the stampede with their new import tommy being rather slow a couple of guys being old. not that im in any position to be critical, but i see what i see
Stampede import tommy is slow, sorry for the confusion. Unless he was tricking us into thinking he was slow

There haven’t been that many nzihl d-men blessed with great speed so I’m sure it won’t hinder him that much relative to those who came before him.
