Any news on the Thunder/Dunedin playing against some of the other Div 3 teams in the run up to the worlds? Everything seems ominously quiet. Heard something about a name change for a team organization down south too. Any stories floating around explaining that?

Vince seeing as their are now three goalies in Dunedin and you are not in Dunedin I am not sure how if Dunedin Thunder played Mongols, you would end up playing?
I would also buy a t-shirt and a jersey for Dunedin Paavo’s as well. I could see the logo now…It would be like Steve-O’s tattoo on his back with a goofy face giving the thumb’s up but of Paavo. Fantastic!!!

That leaves Toby and I as the remaining Thunder players unless new trials have occured…which I’m sure have not. Is a new goalie in town? Also, I have spoken to Jackie not too long ago. Her email frequency is on par with the amoount of times Jesus has emailed me back so I’m asking forum lurkers for info

Didn’t know the man from chocolate land was there yet. Don’t care anyways, I still want to play!!! Does he have a Thunder t-shirt? He’s not Thunder yet and I’m not Red Devils yet…gulp! I’m wearing my t-shirt now. On a side note, I really want a Paavo t-shirt now. One where he grins and points to himself and utters the word…almost like its whispered on the wind….”Paavo”!!!
Thunder are apparently not playing any games against the other teams. This was an idea raised, but never followed through.
Next week we had the impression that IBs were playing Turkey in a pre-tournament friendly, this is also not happening (the club night schedule is incorrect). Turkey have apparently not yet confirmed their arrival, but most teams will only be here a day or two in advance of the tournament.
