Dunedin Ice Hockey Association is hosting some training camps in the second week of the school holidays.

An U16 (all kids except absolute newbies to ice hockey, ages 8 – 15 welcome) skills development camp, to be run all day.

And an adult (ages 16+) powerskating/shooting camp which will be 6 – 7.30 each evening. This camp will be limited to 20 people, so first in first served.

More information for the two camps here:

For both camps the head coach will be Jenel Bode. Jenel was our professional coach from 2007 – 2008, Thunder coach for 2008, and has played at the top level in North American womens leagues, with ten years of coaching. Jenel brings a strong technical focus to her coaching, so is ideal for both these camps.

yeah cause I want to work on a neutral zone trap while the ice is shifting to and fro.  I’ve never felt like I understood the system fully.  Piece of piss on a rink on stable footings but not an iceberg.  I tried modifying a mystery alaska play but it just didn’t seem to work well with the environment
