Hey dudes and dudettes,
Theres ice booked for this Wednesday at 7pm, its going to be b-grade level, pretty much the same as last week. Hopefully the same players will turn up so that we can have the same evenly matched teams. Most people know about it, but spread the word to the guys from last week so everyone turns up! Bring $10 and give it to me or I will get angry… anyway if you are going to play please post on here and i can get some team lists together. One reason I didnt book another game for wednesday nite was that the ice show have the ice booked from 6 – 9pm. Hockey dont have the time booked. No wednesday hockey sorry!

Stefan, is this another screw up by Neil? That ice time has been booked for months but I assumed the schedule had been changed since you managed to book it. I posted a news item on the home page, but I’ll remove it till hear back from you.

Even if Stefan has booked the ice, and the mistake is with the rink, ice hockey should give up the time. The practice on Wednesday night is important for their show, it’s their biggest event of the year, and ice hockey should just be gracious about it and not play what is essentially a game of pickup hockey.
And Neil would give them the time anyway.
It might be available later that night – 8.30 or something? They’re advertising their practice as 6 – 8.
Yeah I was right there and I thought it was goin to be booked for 8pm because of that practice. Hans was booking it. Either Stefan or I will check it tomorrow night at our practice.

What I meant was “the DISC have had the time booked for months. So they’d have first dibs on it anyway.

Well im not sure whats happning really… Hans asked last week on wednesday whether we wanted the ice booked again next wednesday at the same time, and I said yes to his offer. So dont know what the deal is there? Perhaps Hans and Neil have not discussed wednesday bookings.
I agree the ice show should have the time for sure!
Il check tomorrow at training to confirm whether we have ice or not.
