Here you can embed your favourite videos and display any cool photos you find/take yourself.

To keep things organised, it’d be handy if you could post a new topic for each video or collection of videos, otherwise we’ll end up with one giant topic with a ridiculous number of videos in it separated by posts. By posting a new topic, your video will be at the front and comments will be below.

Note: You do not need to use any special BB codes to embed videos anymore, just type out the link and it will automatically embed itself when posted.

You can also add photos using the “attachment” feature or if they’re already on the web then you can use the image button in the toolbar or add [img]tags around the URL.

Yep, definitely. In fact you were what made me think of making this forum ” title=”Smiley” />

The upload function for the main gallery is still not working properly, plus the forum is WAY more popular, so your photos are likely to get lots of attention here. I’ll try and figure out a way to upload photos directly here rather than simply linking to them eventually, but last time I tried to modify the forum to do that I kept breaking the software ” title=”Sad” /> I know lots more about programming now though so might be able to do it now.

I’ve updated the first post in the this topic as there have been some changes to the video embedding setup.

You no longer need to add [youtube] tags to embed YouTube videos, plus there is now support for 47 different video clip sites, not just YouTube.

Unfortunately, in the process of upgrading the system, the old embeds now no longer work. They will be fixed eventually, but in the mean time you can still visit the links which are posted.
