Membermr rhys m you have been greatly miss lead
the devils look pretty strong but have a lot of youngstersApril 22, 2010 at 9:35 pm #15238Kyle
MemberDevils have lost a bunch of players. Stampede must be the favourite, questions for the season will be if swarm or devils will push through, and how Thunder will go with the strong imports that they’re bringing in, plus some domestic transfers that have made them look a lot stronger.

Memberi hope the thunder arent going to rely on imports:(
thats not coolApril 23, 2010 at 12:15 am #15241vpatrol
MemberNothing wrong with imports. Lots of teams rely on them. They make locals better and can help give some parity to the league. 5 imports don’t make a team however.

[/quote:53a2djxt]I think they’ll be looking at people who turned up for trials, that being the traditional way to make the team.

MemberI heard that the thunder have 13 imports this year all with NHL experience and the Dunedin City Council are going to give them jobs building the new stadium and give them huge salaries
April 23, 2010 at 7:50 am #15244vpatrol
MemberI had heard they may or may not have watched NHL hockey at some stage and have outstanding Dunedin City Council parking fines. Not far from your rumour however.

MemberSwarm will be very strong and have something to prove this year after there performance from last year
And i am looking forward to seeing Thunder pull some upsets this year hearing some good things

MemberAgreed. Looking forward to thunder performing to potential and Swarm upping their game. The league should have more than 2 horses in the race this year.
